Strange and Beautiful

Some moments enter quietly and leave the whole room altered. Nothing announces them. There is no thunder, no choir, no visible hand pointing toward the meaning. There is only a feeling that the ordinary world has opened slightly and allowed something hidden to look through.

I used to believe beauty needed to be understood before it could be trusted. I wanted names, reasons, and proof. But the most beautiful experiences often arrive without explanation. They unsettle us because they refuse to fit inside the familiar shapes we have prepared for them.

Strangeness is not always a warning. Sometimes it is the first sign that our vision is expanding. The dream that follows us into morning, the person who feels remembered before being known, the sentence that finds us at exactly the right hour—these things may be strange because we have not yet learned the language they speak.

There are truths that do not become smaller simply because we cannot explain them. Some things are meant to be questioned. Others are meant to be witnessed, carried, and allowed to remain strange and beautiful.
